Lifespan Health Becomes Nexxspan™ Healthcare
NORCROSS, GA – October 14, 2014 – Today, Lifespan Healthcare, LLC announced that it has changed its name to Nexxspan™ Healthcare, LLC. Under new leadership, company executives wanted the organization’s name to reflect its renewed dedication to providing the Nexxt generation of equipment management products. Nexxspan™ Healthcare is committed to developing new, advanced medical solutions which increase efficiency and enhance the quality of life.
The TAD™ IV Transfer System is one of the latest products to be offered by Nexxspan™. The uniquely designed IV transfer system uses the power of the patient’s bed to move the IV pole with pumps from the bed to a wall or boom and vice versa. The automatic safety lock means there are no dials or levers to secure the IV pole to the adapter, reducing the risk of error. The TAD™ IV Transfer System keeps the floor clear and when ready for transport, tucks within the footprint of the bed.
Nexxspan™ also offers the Matrixx-M, vertical headwall system for the neonatal ICU (NICU). This dual tower headwall system was developed to meet the specific needs of the developing newborn, their families, and the clinical staff as defined by the Journal of Perinatology. In addition to these products, Nexxspan™ offers an equipment rail system which is based on the design of its predecessor the Fairfield Medical rail system, as well as medical gas and electric headwalls.
