Create flexible patient care stations during medical population surges using pre-planned headwall design concepts, mobile carts and facility infrastructure ie. equipment rails. Mobile carts allow you to take needed supplies including gases to the patient wherever he/she might be located including hallways, tents or waiting rooms.
By placing equipment rails in hallways and waiting areas, you can easily adapt these spaces into patient care stations. Simply bring necessary gases to the treatment area, attach supplies and gas blocks to the rail, and connect to the gas source using hoses. The rails keep supplies where you need them while keeping the floor clear of trip hazards in an already crowded situation.

Rails
Light duty rail – for use on equipment where a support structure is available
Heavy duty rail – for all other installations such as on walls
All rails feature a light grey laminate insert. Custom color inserts are available to match a facility’s decor. Rails can be ordered in any increment from 1 ft to 10 ft. Several types of adaptors are available to make existing equipment compatible with the Nexxspan rail system. Note: most existing Fairfield components may be transferable to new rail installations.
Mobile Carts
Convenient solution to manage patient surge. Integrated rails allow equipment to easily snap-on the rail to accommodate unique patient needs. By attaching a drawer with counter top, a flat working surface with storage is created.
Storage
Storage and presentation of diagnostic tools, disposables, gloves, tissues, supplies and other frequently-used items is always a problem in crowded patient rooms. Our assortment of shelves, baskets and specialty containers keep the patient area organized and neat.
